How to unlock iphone5?

Anonymous

Hi,

The customer service team is saying that my security details are wrong on their site so i have to update it first. But all my details are correct and security checks were done initially when the contract was started. Don't know what to do now.

Please help if anyone can.

Thanks

Lijy

Are they talking about your account password ?

Speak to O2 customer service to clarify your account details.
O2 Customer Services. 202 for Contract. 4445 for PAYG.

Insert the sim card and make a few chargeable calls to latch the imei of the phone to your account and then try the unlock form again.

The iPhone 5 does not need iTunes to complete the unlock process.
You could try an alternative networks sim in it just to see.

Security failed can be wrong password, wrong tariff, wrong phone number etc. Double check everything on the form is correct.

Hi,

Because I don't remember the password, i put details of my last bill and mobile number. So that should be enough. I will try to speak to them though.

Thanks

Unfortunately you'll need the correct password. Call 202 who will help you to reset it then use the new password on the form.
