I got give an IPhone 5s about 3 weeks ago put in the new 4g sim that o2 sent me. Transfered my number to new sim.

Changed my o2 tariff from pay and go go go to the 4g big bundles tariff that got changed over this morning but it's still showing as 3g and not 4g. I know I'm in a 4g area. How do I get my IPhone 5s to work with 4g settings have 4g ticked.

A shop can't help you with account settings.
You need to get CS to check that your data is set to iData and not Blackberry that most people seem to get put on if not checked.
Honestly mate, I've said this to you about 4 times on this thread now so make a quick call and ask the question, then we can move on if it still doesn't work.

I would first check the status page here to see if there are any mast issues http://status.o2.co.uk/

But if you are sure the tariff has swapped over and the settings> mobile data> mobile data options has 4g enabled , and no mast issues i would ring o2 customer services to check that 4g is active on your account .

Have you tried switching your iPhone off and on, since this morning (since the change over went through). Usually once you are in a 4G area your iPhone should use that. I did used to find that when I was with O2, my iPhone would switch to EDGE, GPRS for no apparant reason, even though I was in a good 3G coverage area. I don't experience this now that I switched to another network, so it was defintely network related.

Have a look on here and see if there is any issues on the O2 network in your area, to see if that's why 4G isn't working.

If you are indoors, briefly pop outside and see if your phone picks up 4G, sometimes you can lose 4G if the coverage is weak or if your in a building of a certain construction.

Make sure you're not on a Blackberry bolt on when you call CS.
It seems many get that incorrectly applied.

Not long off the live o2 online chat. The woman got me to check all the IPhone settings then told me to take the sim out and put it back in again.

That did not work so she put me though to o2 tech surpport. They went though my settings again then told me to do a network reset on my IPhone.

They said that 4g looked active on my account.

I told them it was still showing 3G and 2 bars. He said I should try it when I got out for there's no reason that 4g should not be working.

i know 4g is in the Dunfermline area as I know a few that have 4g on there phones.

You are 100% certain you have a 5s and not a 5.......?
