Solved: How to activate my SIM card without phone number?

My partner got me a phone July 2017 with a o2 SIM card that had credit on. It has never been until now as I had to wait for my previous contract to end. When I insert the sim it is saying ‘sim not provisioned’, upon googling I’ve seen that this means it is not registered? I do not have any of the package that come with the sim, just the micro SIM card itself. Is there anyway I can find out the number of the sim in order to activate it and start using it?

@AnonymousI think after this amount of time the sim will have expired. It has to have a chargeable call made every 6 months to activate and keep it active.

You need to get a new sim from any O2 shop or order one online.This is how to activate a new one
