I bought an iPhone 5s and put my sim in with no problem.
However, I tried putting a Three sim in my 4S which was apparently unlatched. Talking to an online support, they claim that it was unlocked on their end.
Plugging it into iTunes simply produced the following error:
"The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported."
Where do I go from here?

I got a text message to say it was unlatched but no email.
I contacted web support today and they put it through. This time I got another text message that was worded differently. It worked this time as well.
Pleased but I'm curious what happened the first time.

I would send the unlock form again.
Link is just below in my signature.

I actually thought to do so just before I posted.
Is there any reason the customer service rep would have seen the phone as unlatched but it's still locked?

To be honest I don't rely on webchat for totally accurate information.

Glad you got it sorted. Sometimes things just go wrong.
