Ive done a 02 refresh i want ti keep the airtime and give my daughter the phone will the phine locj to first sim inserted as shes not on 02

Have you just started the refresh contract or is it 2 years old etc as the phone is on a credit agreement

But o2 will unlock any current iphone as long as you set it up with the o2 account first then it will never lock again .

If you get it on O2 it will already be locked to O2. Phones bought from CPW lock to the first sim.

It will be around 6 months before O2 will unlock the phone for you.

An iPhone will lock so you need to activate it with the o2 sim then complete the unlock request before giving phone to your daughter

An iPhone 7 or lower can be unlocked immediately.
O2 always impose a restriction on unlocking new phones though so when the 8 is released this won't be able to be unlocked immediately.
