Hi guys
O2 switched on 4G in Newcastle yesterday, and it's pretty cool speedwise. Finally!
But suddenly there's been a surge in my data usage for no apparent reason?
Last month, I kept wifi switched off as an experiment to see how much data I would use on 3G only.
It came to about 2.8 gb. Higher than I was expecting, but my allowance is 5gb, so nothing to worry about.
4G was switched on here yesterday, and by coincidence, my billing cycle reset yesterday.
In a little over 24 hours, my phone has used over 500mb of data?
All my phone has done in that time is download 4 podcasts, update a few apps and run some Ookla speedtests...
I've installed Onavo Count to see if I can trace what's going on, but just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything similar?
Do you guys think I should call O2 and check with them? Doesn't seem right.
Cheers

Thanks BoB, I clean forgot about that
I've reset the statistics on that page and I'll check back there.
