Faulty on/off switch

My on/off switch all of a sudden stopped working. Took it back to the O2 store where it was purchased and they told me it was covered on the warranty. I had to pay a £25 deposit for a loan phone whilst mine went for repair. I was disgusted that they loaned me an out of date basic samsung .... I have just received a text from them to say the problem with my phone is now not covered by warranty and yo call store for quote of repairs!!! I am absolutely disgusted with the service...

Something we hear far too often and it's not getting any better. Usual suggestion is to take phone directly to Apple if still under warranty.

This is terrible and something we hear too often I would make a complaint get the phone returned to you and take it to apple directly don't bother with O2 repairs.

Yep, that's what I would do. Get the phone back off O2 and make a Geniua=s appointment at your nearest Apple store, even if it's a good distance away.

Even if it's not under warranty I've known a genius or specialist to help ,or they will offer you an out of warranty handset deal for a fee.
