I think that's a little bit of a stretch of the imagination. I think the problem is initially an Apple one, irrespective of the network, but they all benefit from it.

Seriously though what stops the operators asking the manufacturers to programme things into their software?

(i.e. but not for debate as don't want to go off topic, smiley faces on Android devices being charges as mms)

I guess it was me cos I kept saying "back on topic".

There is no point in a debate on operators asking manufacturers to put specific software into their devices as we would never get an answer and few would engage in the debate.
