Delivery expectations for iPhone 7?

So when I placed my preorder (and paid off my refresh) this morning I saw that the estimate for the phone delivery would be up to 2 weeks for the Rose Gold plus 256GB (the one I ordered) but now when I go to the store to check whether I picked the right colour (the black really does look nice but I've decided I was right to go for Rose Gold) it says orders will be delivered on the 16th ... so those who preordered this morning have to wait 2 weeks but those who preorder right now don't? I'm confused :Z

@Benlfc, quite true in what you say going by most of the posts. Also I think it depends on which version people chose. Currently the black +32 & +128 show more than 6weeks where as the +256 shows upto 5weeks. Seems like there was/is more demand for the lower versions. I guess all we can do is wait and see

32gb black ordered at 8:50 on preorder day and yes paid £69 think it was... I'm livid

But what spec phone and when did you order so we know what point O2 might start cancelling orders placed after a certain date.
