Delivery expectations for iPhone 7?

So when I placed my preorder (and paid off my refresh) this morning I saw that the estimate for the phone delivery would be up to 2 weeks for the Rose Gold plus 256GB (the one I ordered) but now when I go to the store to check whether I picked the right colour (the black really does look nice but I've decided I was right to go for Rose Gold) it says orders will be delivered on the 16th ... so those who preordered this morning have to wait 2 weeks but those who preorder right now don't? I'm confused :Z

I can vouch for the 'future delivery date' thing, when I called up on Friday the woman told me that my order was marked with 'future delivery date', apparently a new order status they've added for people waiting on iPhones. I guess that's good news, we should be getting our phones in the next few days.

In case it's of any consequence - but the iPhone store in Zurich has plenty of 128gb blacks in stock! I saw a sign today.

Upgraded and pre-ordered normal7 black 32gb. Got the text on thurs about delay but had the tracking info email on the friday. Hopefully its been sorted now, but just cant tell at the minute with these companies haha
