Is anyone having intermittent problems with the data connection when on 4g on the 5S

I’ve had to reset phone to gain a connection a few times.

Even though the phone is showing a connection to 4g and sometimes 3g, it wont connect to internet / send imessage / download emails etc, and comes up with check data connection error?

if i reset the phone it seems to clear whatever error there is? though it does seem to clear on its own on occasion. are O2 having a few teething issues??

You may need to either clean your sim card or have it replaced in an O2 shop.

Also it may be worth having an apple Genius Bar look at it.

Good to hear your services have settled.

Do you have home broadband. If so you can check your status using the link provided on that.

Take care.

I had an issue today where my incoming calls were going straight to email.
The support guy on the chat facility told me that it was not due to network issues and that I should get my sim card changed. After driving to the store they store guy resolved it 30 seconds. He went into settings, turned off 4g and I could receive calls again. He did point out that there was a lot of work going on with the 4g network at the moment but you would think that there would be some switchdown feature so that you could still get the call over 3g.

All calls go over 2g or 3g. It is not possible to use 4g for calls currently.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
