Every time I try to connect new series 6 watch to existing iPhone plan it’s trying to force me to pay £5 for a new unlimited data plan. I have more than enough data on my existing plan so I don’t want a new one.

You have to have the watch data plan to use the watch standalone.

If you don't want to pay, just connect via Bluetooth and wifi, but you'll need your phone with you at all times.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
