Cancelling contract

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi,
I've been trying to cancel my contract.
Live chat is always unavailable. The email service is no longer supported and when I phone I'm told that the phone operators are busy and to go online.
I wrote a letter last week but have had no reply as yet.

I now have 2 months in arrears for a phone that is not being used.

Is there a way of easily cancelling online or do I just need to keep trying on the phone?

Many thanks,

Matt.

Glad all is sorted. Did you send the original letter cancelling by recorded delivery? You'd be amazed at how many of these get "lost in the post", a problem that affects more or less any service. Royal mail must have a giant room somewhere full of people's cancellation letters Smiley LOL

All cancellations for pretty much any service should be done in writing and by recorded delivery so you have proof the request was received. The only main exception for mobile is if you use a PAC code to keep your number as using the code will automatically terminate the old account

We can only wish them well now with the network they have chosen. Hopefully they remain happy ex-customers tongue
