My phone has recently become a problem in some apps & not others but consistently now I cannot continue with written text after I've put in an emoji. It won't return to letters & bottom bar on other pages also sometimes a prob but not always. I haven't damaged it as far as I know. Any ideas?

Try a reset first.
Hold power and volume down together until Apple logo appears on screen.
If phone is prior to 6s you need to hold Power and home key to reset.

Hi @Woo, did you get a chance to try a reset as @MI5 suggested above? Is it any better now? slight_smile

Hi no unfortunately the reset didn't work. I am confused as I can use the space bar & numerical sign & return keys all at the bottom of the screen so I'm assuming it's not damaged but if I go into WhatsApp or texts I can't use anything on the bottom line of the screen. Any ideas why this would be? If I rotate to a horizontal view I can but that's irritating. Thanks for your responses by the way
