Can't receive text messages

I have an iPhone 4S never had any problems with it until 2 weeks when then I stopped receiving text messages. I rung O2 and turned the phone on and off a number of times, took sim out and cleaned it, tired it in a different phone, backed up and reset phone, took it to an o2 shop where the sim was replaced and it started to work but slowly.  The sims was checked in another phone before it was replaced and it was deemed it was the sim not the phone. Today I have put it in another phone but its not working.

If its any help any messages sent as imessages I get.

any suggestions very welcome, I'm at my wits end with it!

It seems you have carried out the usual resolution by checking out the phone and then the sim in another handset.

If you put the micro sim back in your 4s does it continue to work as I see you've put it in another device.

I assume your able to send text messages ok !
