If you are thinking of trying to insure the phone you dropped in the pool then obviously you can't do that now.

You will have to try and get the phone repaired first (if it is repairable) You can buy phone insurance online. There are many others better than O2 You need to shop around really

This is O2 insurance if you want to look at that

https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/insurance/mobile-insurance

Many people find their banks offer mobile phone insurance

Hi @Anonymous

Then sadly it looks as if it will need replacing. How old is the phone and is it an iPhone?

You might be able to get an out of warranty replacement for around £149 from Apple. Not sure if water damaged phones qualify though. Check on the Ap[ple website.

Then give Apple a ring....https://www.apple.com/uk/contact/

You may be able to get a refurbished phone. As it is 12 months old it is out of warranty. It wouldnt have been covered for water damage anyway

No you would be paying that for the phone which has no warranty. You would need to insure that. As I said in my last post...give Apple a ring from the link I gave wink

When I go to tell them that he's dropped his phone in the pool what would they say, wouldn't it have to be working for me to insure it or can it be broken
