@O2Lisa hi Lisa, I was hoping you could help me fix my barter phone. I had reported it stolen and since then found it. I have already called customer service but they have been unhelpful.

Thank you but I just spoke to someone on live chat and they’ve removed the bar for me 🥳

Did you put an insurance claim in by any chance? And had the phone replaced?

No, what happened is I needed a new esim as I could not find my phone so the person I spoke to placed a bar request on my phone. But I have now found it and obviously want to remove the ban

I’m having this issue.
my partner lost his phone Sunday. I reported it. It was found and returned on Monday. Requested it all be unbarred. Was told 24h. Rang after 24h and told the same again bars will be lifted and wait 24h same again the next day.
spoken to apple and done a diagnostic with them and they are 100% it’s software not hardware issue so o2 not apple fault. O2 have replaced sim but phone still won’t work. It worked for 3h yesterday and now doesn’t work again!
This needs sorting today. PLEASE HELP!

Hi @Kkrolfe
This is a customer community and we can't help here I'm afraid. I can tag @O2Lisa an account advisor and see if she can help.
When a phone is lost, O2 block the phone AND the sim. A new sim won't work for definite as its presumably still linked to your account if you keep the same number.
