Awaiting Sim transfer

Anonymous
Not applicable

I purchased my iphone5s at 10am this morning, it's awesome! Downside, the transfer of my number is taking FOREVER! well probably not literally, it says 24hours and be patient bla bla bla, turn phone of and on again every now and then to check.

Is it taking so long cos so many are doing the same thing? I feel from what i've read and 02's lack of actual phones on launch day states otherwise, but anyone got a clue?

I was on with live chat and they have me the impression it was all done. Would it be or should I carry on with the link as well?

Just done this procedure - but the website is wrong for 4G sims - the serial no doesnt start with what the website is expecting so you can't get past the check. I did it by texting SWAP to 20220

Yes but it doesn't work as 4G simms don't start with 894411 that the website expects/checks for - I did it by the text method I mentioned.

I'd suggest to others to contacting o2 Customer Services.

I don't need to as I've done it - using the text method (as I've said twice now) - Just pointing out to others with 4G sims that the web site does not work.
