Hi,

I recieved my Apple Watch Series 6 a few days ago, going into the watch app on my iPhone states - no mobile data please contact O2 for a data plan.

I have a data plan on my watch, I've attempted restarting phone with sim in and out to update carrier settings to no avail.

Any help appreciated as unable to get through to customer support.

Thanks

Did you setup the data plan within the App? I know that sounds a daft question but some people do forget..

I would also go through the setup again on the iPhone, and rescanning the QR Code

If that doesnt work you will need to call o2

Call 202 or 0844 809 0202 (they open at 8am) when it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an agent
- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK

You need to add the watch data plan to your account which is an extra £5 per month if you want to use it as a standaloe device.

If not, you can just use it via Bluetooth and WiFi.

Set it up from the watch app in your phone.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
