Hi,

I am a pay monthly customer on o2 and I have recently got an Apple Watch series 5. I have tried to connect the watch to mobile data as I am paying £5 per month for unlimited Airtime data for the Watch. However, when I try to set up mobile data using the watch app on iPhone I am faced with a message stating that I need to be a pay monthly customer. Does anyone know how to fix this ?

Just checking you're a normal consumer account and not business?

If so, you'll need to call customer service to sort your account settings out.

Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

You may have to try a few times to get someone who knows what to do.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi, I still haven’t unfortunately. I can’t seem to find a working support number that gets me through to speak to an actual person. Any suggestions ?

Hi, AppleW,

Try either 0344 809 0202 or 202 from your handset, you should be able to get in touch with someone. If not, have you tried o2 webchat via myo2? Let me know how you get on.
