So i've recently changed to O2 because it supports the cellular feature on the apple watch.

However, when i try to set it up on mobile data it comes up saying 'Your O2 account is not eligible to enable mobile data on your apple watch'

Does anyone know why this may be?

I cant get hold on anyone at O2 at the moment.

I've made sure both phone and watch have the latest versiors of ios and watchos.

Usually the wrong details in your account setup.

You'll need customer service to check Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support

The best number to get through seems to be
0800 587 4005

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Thanks for your response.

I tried that number and the person wasn't much help.

She said cos my numbers changed over using pac code to give it another 24 hours.

But i also explained to her that although my 4g and wifi calling is enabled on my account, when i try turn it on on my phone it doesnt allow me to and says contact O2 and she just said wait.

Do you think i cat enable my mobile data due to the fact 4g and wifi calling is off? if so how can i like diable and enable it back oy my account ?

If you have just joined O2 you'll need to wait a few days for the system to update your details.

I've just had my number ported over to o2 today and am experiencing the same issues (unable to enable WiFi calling and Apple Watch data plan).

Have you been able to resolve the issue yet?

Usually 24 hours but seems to be taking 3 to 4 days currently.

Thanks all for your help. I can confirm as of today I can now activate my watch data plan.

@ta4 - If you check your Apple Watch app, you should now be able to activate your data plan.
