Hi

i recently purchased an Apple watch 6 with a cellular plan. After 6 weeks I’ve decided I don’t like it and would like to transfer the plan and watch to a family member which is part of my contract.

First o2 agent advised this was possible but when I was transferred through I was advised this is not possible. I would need to cancel my watch airtime and get a new plan.

I have searched the forums but not finding any help. Any 1 come across this?

thanks

The only way you can do that is to pay off the watch completely first.

It's the rule that O2 has set.

It is linked to the original number when the account is set up and any changes require the device to be paid off first.
