Just upgraded to a 5S and a bit confused that it comes with a new SIM. I already have a microsim from my iPhone 4 - do I use the new one in my 5S or can I use my existing one from the 4?
If the former, what do I do with the old SIM? Would both not still be working?

Hi,
You will need to perform the swapmysim procedure.
Your iphone 4 takes a micro sim and your iphone 5s takes a nano sim which is smaller than the micro sim used in your iphone 4.
This moves your current tariff and mobile number from your old sim card to the new one.
It typically takes from a few hours to 24 hours to fully activate.
Turning your phone off and on helps reset the services.

Thanks - do I do this before or after I put the SIM in the phone?
Sorry that I'm being dim.

Hi,
Your not being dim at all.
If you have never done this it can be daunting.
Just Go to the link I've provided and follow the instructions.
Enter your number and o2 will text you a code to enter into the online page.
You'll see how it works.
Or text 'Swap' to 20220
The service will soon then stop on your old micro sim which will no longer work, and then put your nano sim in the iphone 5s, and like I said, keep turning it off and on.
