5G question

I don’t like the idea of having a 5G phone with all the health scares around about it. If I had a new iPhone that’s 5G as long as I had the data off I guess it’s safe to use? I’m mostly at home anyway.

If your area doesn’t support 5G, still 4G will it just pick up 4G anyway?

I don’t understand fully the whole 5G phone thing but I’ve wanted to avoid 5G phones. Yet most new phones say 5G.

@Libs

You can continue to use your old 4G sim if you prefer.

You don't have to use 5G, although all new sims are 5G capable. Entirely your choice.

To get 5G you need a 5G phone 5G sim and be in a 5G area.

You can just keep running your device on 4G though.

Personally I have no problem with it, though I know some people remain concerned.

Edited for info

Ok. So having a 5G phone doesn’t pose a risk unless you enable the 5G?

Thank you.

All this 5g rubbish is just that, rubbish.

5g is no more harmful than anything else.

It's just Internet myth perpetuated by people with nothing better to do.

In the future there will be be 6g, 7g, 8g etc and no doubt the same rubbish will be circulating again at that time.

It doesn't pose a risk at all even if you enable 5G. @Libs
