5 g phone

I have ordered a new Apple 12 which says it is 5g.  There isn’t any 5 g coverage in my area yet so will it automatically change to 4g and work ok?

Yes it will connect to 4G in your area

If you want 5G when it's available then use the new sim card after doing a sim swap
