Hi all when I took out my iphone 5 contract I got that 4g price promise from them but my question is this do I have to go on a 4g tariff with iphone 5s or can I get iphone 5s on 3G (does this come under the 4g price promise) as where I live O2 does not cover 4g at the moment thanks.

Yes but can I opt for the 3G contract instead of 4g contract and will this fall in line with the 4g price promise

You can just remain on the tariff your on now and use 3g.

You dont have to take up the 4G tariff and its offers. {But its advisable as perksie says}

The 5s will run fine on 3g.

You wont get the extra data as perksie says or any other related offers.

Look at the link he has taken time to include.

If you ring o2 on 202 they will give you all of your options or look in your Myo2.

I doesn't matter that 4G isn't there yet as you can use the data on 3G too.

There is also extra data included for people signing up to 4G now:

http://www.o2.co.uk/4g/4g-tariffs  up until the end of October.

There is also a 90 day happiness guarantee:

I expect you can but it defeats the point of paying all that for a 4G phone.

Best to phone in and check your options.

Yes, but not much point to it really tongue
