I can’t connect to 4g, got a new phone following the loss of mine and a new sim but can’t connect to 4g, in settings it states 4g, VoLTE off and can’t select 4g, VoLTE on (tells me to contact o2) tried contacting o2 who told me it’s an issue with a mast, tried the shop and they told me try online, seriously not good, can anyone help with this, thanks

As I said, it does sound like they've not activated 4g.

Check here to confirm a mast fault.

If it is true, you'll need to wait until it's fixed O2 Service Status

What phone did you have and what do you now have? Could be a simple incorrect data bolt on or settings issue.

I’ve been to London today and still only 3G ?are the mast down everywhere?? Do you know if the “4g VoLTE no”in settings affects the 4g connection?

Yes, that setting will effect the connection.

Have you tried resetting the network settings?

It sounds like maybe 4g isn't enabled on your account though.
