4G and signal strength

Bit strange but when my phone is just 3G I have 4 bubbles of signal and when I turned on my 4G I only get 2 signal bubbles.

Does anyone know why and how I can fix this?

It's easy to lose exactly what has been done in the lead up to a problem:smileywink:

Indeed, as per my very first reply, the strength of signal between 3g and 4g will vary. A very strong 3g signal will overrule a weak 4g one if the phone is efficiently dealing with the network signal it receives.

I may pop into an O2 store and see what they say/suggest. A new SIM could well do the trick
