I'm travelling in the US and have the overseas package plus all roaming data etc set up properly. I can see Bly get a 3G connection however (A,T&T). My wife has same device but on Vodafone and has 4G?

O2 do not have any 4g roaming agreements anywhere yet so you will never get it at the moment.
Vodafone and ee are the only ones that do.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Yep. Everything set as it should be. Checked it against wife's settings too-all the same. And yes, I have 4G in UK all the time.

Try a manual search to find another network @Anonymous. You may find the elusive 4G on that one...?

Just to add... one of our members @Bambino is from the USA I have tagged him to see if he can advise further if the manual network search fails to work for you.

Nope, tried all that, switching off and back on each time as well. I find it hard to believe that O2 offer data and voice bolt ons for the US if it's impossible to use data. I'll try customer service when I get back (joyful thought), but as a business user this would be enough for me to switch

Yes thanks, will try that when available next. I'm in FL but had the same issues in NY, CT, MA and NH last week.

Then it could be a handset or sim issue @Anonymous....Best of luck when you manage to call CS..

At least you are getting 3G so you aren't completely without data....
