I have an apple Iphone 7.  I have been using it when in our property in Spain for 2.5 years - no problem with O2/Movistar 4G when roaming.  Have used google maps to get around and no problems until now.

I now only get 3G.  My phone is set up to get 4G but I only get 3G

My Husband also has an iphone 7, also on 02 and when we are out and about he has 4G but I do not now

Why have I lost 4G?     and when sitting next to my Husband why has he got it and I don't when we have the same phone and same network???

@Debora2

Have to us recently changed tariff or made any other account changes?

Also check your data APN and try changing it to "mobile.o2.co.uk"

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Ahh the wonderful world of Movistar, how i miss them 🙂

Have you done a network settings reset on your iPhone
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201415#:~:text=Reset%20your%20Network%20Settings.,that%20you've%20....

Also try a reboot of the phone as sometimes this can kick 4G back to life..

It might also be congestion on the Movistar network, as strange as it sounds.

Hi @Debora2 , how are you doing this week? slight_smile

You were having some issues with your Movistar connection in Spain earlier. It's been a while since you posted so hopefully you managed to get things working ok? If you're still experiencing issues please do let us know.
