I have been working from home using particularly poor internet and tried to use my 4G to connect. I can connect my iPad through the hotspot but when I use my laptop it tells me the device is not connected to the internet. It worked from my Android device not long ago (a month) and now I have an iPhone it has this issue. I can’t find a simple solution. Any help please? iPhone 11 Pro.

You need to go into the network settings on your laptop and turn off metered connection.

Yes it's required but as the iPad connects it must be enabled already.
