I find it disgusting that they can not provide PAYING customers a physical phone on release day when everyone else is able to do so! Im hearing that it could be 8 weeks if you order through 02!

If you've been struggling to get a good 3G signal, you should have moved long ago. That should always be the first consideration. O2's signals will improve as 4G is rolled out, but if you're desperate to have the new iPhone, then you should switch.

Hi

Just sort of saying the same thing as bambino.

Mobile phone networks are just companies like tesco, sainsburys, british airways, virgin atlantic etc. If you get a better deal and similar or better service with another network you need to go for it.

The networks won't be on their hands and knees begging for you to stay, you are just a customer. 15-20 years ago maybe but not today.

If Sainsburys had your favourite wine/crisps/chocolate etc on offer and were closer to your home than Tesco then you wouldn't go further to tesco to pay more for the same product. It not really any different in the mobile phone world.

Looks like there could be a supply issue.

Apples Australian website is quoting 7-10 business days for delivery on all 5s handsets. On another site its reported that Apple staff at a store again in Australia have told customers wanting a gold handset to go home and order online as they have less than 6.

I know this is all in Australia and we don't know what its going to be like in the UK but it doesn't look that good.

My experience last year for the iPhone 5 was it took 14 attempts (2weekd) at reserving one from the Apple Store in Meadowhall.

Apple IMO release the handsets in batches and in strict numbers.
