a nano sim is thinner as well best to get one from an o2 store then do the sim swap

If it's an o2 phone then just go to the store and order a sim and they will transfer your number and tariff over for you. You will need to swap the BB bolt on to the iphone data bolt on.
It should tell you on the box if it's an o2 phone.

While you are at the o2 store ask them to check it by putting a sim in it first.
