broken iphone4s

I dropped my iphone 4s. the screen has gone black but I can still hear the camera working. Do you think a shop will fix it or is it dead??

book a genius appointment at your local apple store. if it is in warranty they will swap it for a  new 4s if its out of warranty you can buy a replacement from them at a cost of £149

I don't think Apple would swap it out for accidental damage ?

Say the corner of the iPhone has a crush impact mark on it.

The genius may say this is why it's failed.
