WiFi Calling - iOS 10.3

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hey guys,

Just updated to iOS 10.3. Noticed in the settings that there is an option to enable wifi calling. Anyone know if this actually works now?

Someone already reported it working on another thread. Why not try it and let us know?

Just tested and it works.

Also, if you go to data options you now have the option to select 4G for data and voice.

It says not yet available but clicking on the link takes you to an O2 page which says it will be available in 24 hours.

HD Voice and WiFi calling!!!

That's VoLTE not HD voice.
EE and Three have had HD voice on 3g for years.

Great, just searched for it using the link and it referred to it as HD Voice.

I know other providers have had it for years, just glad O2 have caught up!

I've tried to activate it on iPhone 7+. Says you will need to speak to o2 to activate on your account, this can't be done via the phone.

Will try try and enable it with o2 tomorrow. Tried online chat and so far they had no idea what I was even talking about.

No surprises there then.
Typical of o2 to introduce something without telling anyone about it, customer service included!
