Hi,

I just bought a iphone 5 from ebay which was bought from a trusted business seller. When I get my iphone 5 can I set it up without sim card. By that I mean sorting out contacts, installing apps etc.

My current phone uses a standard size sim and I wanted to set it all up before transfering my sim over to a nano sim.

Also whats the easiest way of moving contacts over from my Andoid smartphone.

Thanks

Kamal

Welcome to the dark side.

You will need a nano sim card from 02 and perform a sim swap.

You will need a sim in the iphone 5 to complete the set up and achieve connection to 3g and wifi. Then you will be able to set up your apple ID etc and icloud. This will allow you then to enter the app store and download apps.
