No sim installed

Anonymous

Hi,

Received my iPhone 5 yesterday. Sim swapped from old sim to the new Nano sim.

Now Every time I try to activate the phone it won't let me as it says no sim card is installed. I have taken the sim card out and put it back in a stupid amount of times and still no luck.

Now I am left with no phone as the sim swap has gone through...

Any help is appreciated

You might find the sim/phone is naff:(

If it doesn't recognise the sim exists there's a bigger problem here than a sim swap failure:(

Are you sure the new sim has been activated?

It can take a bit of time (up to 24 hours)

No joy

Can you try the sim in another phone? You should of been given an adaptor with the sim pack put it in your old phone see if it recognises the sim.

Let us know

Unfortunately I was given no adapters for the nano sim to try in other phones.

It seems the original nano sim was faulty and I had to request another replacement one which thankfully solved the problem.

Thanks for your help everyone.
