No service since 6.0.1 update on 4s and iPhone 5

I had an iPhone 4S and I kept getting no service issues at times I normally had a full signal I thought it was the phone so I have changed to an iPhone 5 and now have same issue and the SIM card is brand new just got it today

Is there a known issue as I am supposed to get very good coverage in my area this issue happens elsewhere but mostly at my home address

My partner had the same issues at his work but like me before the above update everything was working perfectly

All I can sugest it to try the usual things like clean the sim and tried all the resets on the iphone then a restore if that still has not cured the issue you can take the 5 to apple and get it checked.

Just ensure you book a Genius Bar appointment first to ensure your seen.

Im using the iPhone 5 on 6.0.1 without the issues you have explained.

I remember when the 6.0.1 was released and people had issues connecting to wifi at first.

I had the same issue with my 4s my partner also had the same issue

I changed to the 5 only yesterday the SIM card is brand new

I don't see how 4 phones can be faulty

And as I have mentioned above these issues have only started since updating to the 6.0.1 update

Have you tried resetting your network settings?

Hiya I had a similar problem yesterday - apart from I am on 5.1.1 on a 4s. Signal dropped all of a sudden from a full 5 bars to nothing, displayed no service, then 02-uk reappeared but no bars. I reset the phone about 8 times and the signal finally came back. signal was fine in my area and none of my friends had a signal problem. Thinking it is something to do with the phone itself. very frustrating x
