No notification sound

Hi, I have the iphone 4s and now and again my notification sound disapears. So i never know when i have messages. 

Does anyone know if its worth taken back the shop?

Or as anyone experanced this with their phone? x

By saying "again" have you fixed it previously?

Is it only messages? Or are emails,phone calls and updates silent as well?

Possibly try a update/restore?

I sometimes get this with Facebook.

Seems to glitch now and then.

Generally turning your handset off and on resolves the glitch.

The on/off button seems to clear most glitches

I generally turn my iPhone off and on once a week to help reset it.

running the battery down once a week is also good, prolongs the battery life

The way I use my iPhone 5 I have no issues taking the battery below 10% to auto shutdown !

I agree that Calibrating the battery is a good move with all phones.
