No Internet connection 4s

Anonymous
Not applicable

Iv suddenly lost net connection.

I have 3G showing and the APN is idata.o2.co.uk

using a iphone 4s on a pay monthly contract.

Seems to have started 2 days ago when I changed my tariff, but this could be a coincidence.

Any one have any ideas? O2 say my contract is fine and running.

😞

Going by that quote they're saying they don't have 3G in the area full stop. Not just that its broken down:/

That usually means that it isn't available in that location at all, not that there is a fault.

I seem to be having the same problem, I changed to simplicity yesterday from my contract and now my mobile data is telling me i'm not subscribed to mobile data service even though my simplicty shows 1gb data.

If you only changed yesterday it may not have been fully provisioned yet.

If you have no signal connection by tomorrow your best bet is to phone CS.

It can take up to 24 hours to complete.

Just a thought....you have both changed tariff. If your data has changed to a standard data bolt on then you need to change the APNs to mobile.o2.co.uk

I had the same thought last night while lying in bed. Changed it this morning and it worked. Wonder why o2 didn't think of this.
