I've just swapped from a personal pay as you go sim to a business sim on a monthly tariff. Everything if fine except I can't send text messages, I can only receive them. I have reloaded my message centre number. I've also done a full back up and wiped my iphone 3 clear and reloaded it
Could it be a faulty sim? Any other ideas

Did you transfer your old number to the new sim?
If yes ring business customer service 8002 and check the move happend correctly.
If no still ring 8002 and get it sorted.

Found out today there is a network problem moving people from payg sims to business pay monthly with sending and / or receiving texts. It's not a sim fault and there is no estimate on when it will be resolved. they phoned to ask how happy I was with my new business sim! I had already ordered a new sim yesterday after them deciding that was faulty but this is not the case.
I'm currently in the 8002 queue... Been in that queue for 27 mins. What terrible service!

Once iphone 5 calls have gone done (chasing there delivery etc) 8002 I normally wait no longer than 1 minute.
