Iphone 4 - end of contract...Simplicity???

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, I have come to the end of my 18month contract and im in no hurry to upgrade to an iphone 5 so I thought I would change my tarriff to the simplicity one avialable.

I logged on to MyO2 and thought I could change it there through reviewing my tarriff....but seemingly not. Can you tell me what the process is? do I need a new sim? will I need to transfer my number?

and ACTUALLY is it worthwhile changing to simplicity???

thanks

Quite obvious this, I'm afraid.

Right on the home page there's a line under the "High fliers" box right in the middle of the page that says "£20 On & On simplicity" (=> http://shop.o2.co.uk/tariffs/simplicity/12_months/data/High )

Select the iPhone button, and away you go.

...And no you just phone O2 and say "my contract is up, I want to move to xx Simplicity tariff, can you set that up for me please?". Provided it's pay monthly you'll keep your sim and number, if not they'll probably post you a PAYG or business sim (depending on what your want) which you insert in handset when they advise you (ask them), and just goto http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk and wait upto 24h for O2 to move your number to the new sim on the the new contract.

Et voila. Easy peezy, really.
