How to unlock my iPhone 3gs

Hi,

 

I bought iphone (ebay) and I try unlock it.

 

I tried solution from: http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple-iOS-Devices-iPhone-iPad/unlocking-a-payg-iphone-4s/td-p/338106

 

I have balance £19.81 and I make a few calls. I send request form : https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=1&q1=2&route=unlocking&case=Handset%20Unlocking%20Form

 

Aswer:

 

"Dear ....

Thank you for your iPhone unlatching request.

I'm sorry, we have not been able to unlatch your iPhone at this time. 
The reason given is: The Mobile Number provided has not been registered 
to the IMEI provided

Yes, it needs to be used on O2 network in the UK.

It is because you are roaming if you are using phone abroad and not actually on the "real" O2 network wink
