My wife has iPhone 4 and we are looking to upgrade to SE but will buy the phone separately first, not through O2 contract but we are still with O2 airtime monthly.  As the iPhone4 is a micro sim it will not switcih into a new SE so how do I just order a new compatible sim, can it be done online?

Anythnig else to be concerned about like activating it with the same number?

Many thanks,

Mark

You can order a sim online and then swap the number using the form here...

http://swapmysim.o2.co.uk

Easiest option though is to call into the o2 store who will give you a free sim and swap everything for you.

You can pop into your local o2 store & they will provide you with a nano sim & do the sim swap for you for free or you can order a new sim from the website & then perform the sim swap yourself

I already have another nano sim I am not using for O2 PAYG in Xperia phone. Can I use that sim instead then do the swap? It saves me going into a store.

Thanks again for your help, appreciated.

Contract and PAYG sims are different.
You need the correct one or else you will have problems with some functions.

Hello @mark245

Not sure if you need more info after all @MI5, @Anonymous and @jonsie help. But, you can always find more under O2 help pages 'Help with your sim': Want to activate your sim? Need to order a replacement? Unsure how to swap your sim? You’ll find all the information you need in the sections below.
