xperia protection fault

Had the misfortune to upgrade to a xperia m4 aqua last month. Sony are having a major issue with the my xperia protected ap.My phone as locked me out for five days now and had no joy with o2 gurus or sony where I was told they are sorting it internally. So not happy and would advise people to think twice before buying any sony phone at present.

On a PC go to accounts.google.com and turn off 2 step verification (some genius at Sony forgot to make allowances for two step) once done, on the phones lock down screen, connect to wifi and then sign in to your Google account.

Or simply set a security token fir your phone in your Google account security settings.
