why has my mobile stopped opening documents on office

My samsung galaxy A12 always would download and open documents and now it has stopped. How can I fix this.

I've got this issue too. Very frustrating as I've always been able to open documents in word and PDF. Then it just stopped. Unistalled all office apps and reinstalled. Worked for a while then stopped again
