Hi,
O2 are trying the patience of the S2 owners too, by not releasing the latest update when other carriers have already done so. But with regard to this topic, a colleague of mine has an S4 and is talking about the 4.2.2 XXUBMEA Baltic firmware on SamMobile which should typically be unbranded. Is this any good for you guys who want to use Odin..? I myself have used the Baltic unbranded releases on my S2 with no problems at all.
Otherwise fingers crossed for you all and Santa will come early.
Jonty.

When I got my S4 on first release date I had promlems with the SIM Access Profile and connections to my car phone. I then updated the firmware and it worked fine.
My S4 then stopped working. They shipped a new one out to me next day but when I search for update it tells me the latest updates are installed - but guess what the sim access does not work with my car. It connects then drops out 30 seconds later. This is so annoying!
Does anyone know what this is all about? Is it the firmware or is my replacement handset faulty?

Do o2 ever look on here wish somebody could give us some answers as in the shop they were quick enough to sell me a 32GB sd card which is a complete waste of time as i can't use it.Was told after i could use it for audio so i won't be needing my £200+ well known audio player now then Please will somebody just give us a clue when or even if we are getting the update as it is of slight importance even watchdog think so.

Just a thought andy i had same sort of trouble are your contacts on your sim or phone when i moved contacts to phone it worked ok.Seems to be a problem with some ford bluetooths they can't find contacts and disconnect.

Jools, I know it's frustrating but it WILL come so just hang in there. As for the 32GB card, hopefully it's not money wasted and in fact a very useful investment. I have a 32GB card in my S2 and use it purely to store music, videos/films, and other nik-naks that I won't cry about if the card stops working. That way I keep the phone's internal storage for everything else.
Hang in there...
Jonty.

Ten to eight on Monday morning (1 Jul) just installed an update.
Now on Baseband version; I9505XXUBMEA
Build Number JDQ39.I9505XXUBMEA
Kernal Version 3.4.0-768421
Hope that helps.
Edit;
I have Appex launcher installed so didnt suffer lag (or at least I didnt notice it) so everything seems a much of a muchness. The facility to move some apps to one's SD card has been revealed, TBH, not being a gamer, it is not something that I really need, but nice to have.
