Do you mean they won't unlock Pay and Go phones at all?

From their website
"Please fill in the form below to request the unlock code for your phone. We can only supply unlock codes for existing Vodafone pay monthly customers and the phone/IMEI associated with your account."

I guess O2 aren't quite as bad then?
£15 is a lot better than no we won't do it at all.

It always pays to check other networks policies and yes, £15 is nothing compared to been stuck with a phone you can't use. You can always use "other" methods to unlock the majority of phones but some can be quite tricky.

This has taken over my life at the moment. I am trying to unlock a S11 so that my daughter can use it on another network. I have been given the 8 digit release code but it simply will not work. I have been on the the chat support continiously and quite honestly they have been poor. Each time they give you different information, but none of it works. Firstly they claimed I may have been given the wrong code, then they had me sending a text to unlock it, then they claimed they would unlock it via their technical department. Now I have been told I have to take it to a 02 shop. An added complication is my latest mobile has a micro sim card, so it won't fit in the old phone. But I was told once I put any no 02 sim in and entered the code it would work. But is doesn't!! Now I will have to see what the shop comes up with? On another view of this, I understood the EU has changed regulations on contracts and that you can not be refused by any network provider once you request the code after 6 months into the contract. If anyone has any ideas on my problem I would love to hear them.
