Tap on service info then software info.
Look down the screen and see what it says for active customisation.

Yes, It's definitely an O2 contract phone.
Have you ever flashed any other firmware on it at all or rooted it?

I haven;t no.. Im pretty Tech Savvy myself, but in all fairness. I wouldn;t have the faintest idea of what I was doing with flashing a device or rooting it.. 😞

I would book an appointment with a Guru in an O2 store to look at it for you.
I'm assuming you have tried updating both OTA and via PC Companion?

Yeah Ive tried both OTA and the PCC.. PCC just tells me I have the latest software.. 😞

It has to be a phone issue - I can't think of any reason why you can't update.
Have you tried a factory reset (back it up first) ?
