Solved: samsung galaxy S 2

My Samsung Galaxy S2 goes very hot and the battery is losing its charge very quickly. It charges up ok but becomes hot after the charger is disconnected. It also freezes occasionally and switches itself of. Has anyone got any suggestions as to what I can do to remedy these problems?

Factory reset and if problem still persists send it in for repair.
